Concealed Carry Classes - Concealed Carry classes are scheduled for August 14. Classes will be held at Lane Tree Country Club, and will begin at 8:30 A.M. Concealed Carry classes are offered for $50 per individual. Sign up at the Range Office if you would like to attend one of these classes. We will be adding additional classes to the schedule very soon. Additional classes may also be scheduled upon request, if a minimum of 8 students are committed to attending the class. In the event that a group of individuals request that an additional class be added to the schedule, the cost of the class would be $50 per individual. You must be a minimum of 20 years of age to attend a Concealed Carry class. |

Defensive Pistol Classes - Basic Defensive Pistol classes will be scheduled periodically. This is a two-day class. The Basic class will be on the first day, with the Advanced class scheduled for the second day. The fee for the Basic class is $75; Advanced class is $95. If you wish to attend, please send a deposit to: Ken Edwards 120 Farm Club Road Goldsboro, NC 27534 Make your check or money order out to Ken Edwards. Deposits for the Basic class are $25; for both the Basic and the Advanced, the deposit is $50. Please include name, membership number, and contact information with your deposit. You must have attended and completed the Basic class before attending the Advanced class. The two stage training is for safety reasons, because most students will be learning to use their handgun in a manner they are not accustomed to. You must contact Ken Edwards if you plan to attend. Classes will be announced as scheduled. |

Member Recruitment Program - For each new yearly member a current member recruits, the sponsoring member will receive $10 off of his or her yearly membership fee, up to $100. If a current member recruits 10 members within a 12-month calendar year, then the sponsoring member’s next yearly renewal is free. Sponsoring members receive a New Member Recruitment Card for each new member they sponsor. When the sponsoring member’s yearly renewal is due, the member simply presents the New Member Recruitment Cards they have accumulated over the calendar year, and the discount will be applied to the fee. Sponsoring members must retain the New Member Recruitment Cards; this will be the only existing record that they sponsored a new member, and the only way they will receive their discount. |
|
Skeet Shooting - A second skeet thrower has been purchased, and is now available for use. Skeet shooters will now have the opportunity to practice on clay targets thrown up from two different directions. Clay pigeon targets are only $3 for 25 clays. |
|
Sundays At the Range - Effective immediately, Sundays will once again be normal business days. Members-only Sundays have been discontinued. Hours are 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM. |
|
Lifetime Memberships - Lifetime Memberships are available for purchase for only $475 per individual, or $650 per couple or pair. This membership comes with many advantages. For example, the member’s children, grandchildren, and siblings are able to enjoy the range for free until they reach 21 years of age; there will be no guest fee for any of these family members as long as they are younger than 21. Each lifetime member will receive a key to the front gate, and will be allowed access to the range seven days a week, from sunup to sundown (following a mandatory special safety class, since this means that members will be present at times without Safety Officers). Members who visit the range outside of normal operating hours must remember to shut and lock the gate when entering and departing the range. The gate must not be left open at any time outside of normal operating hours. All members are expected to follow safe gun handling practices and rules at all times. You may purchase Lifetime Memberships at the range, or you may purchase them with a credit card at Wild Indian Gun Company, on Highway 13 North. And, finally, you may purchase with a check or money order made out to “Ken Edwards / ENC Firing Range” and mailed to:

Ammunition Available - Effective December 1, 2009, the range began offering ammunition for members only, in limited supply. This ammunition will not be for sale; the range operator is purchasing it and making it available to members at the price he is able to purchase it for. He does not wish to sell it, but must obviously seek reimbursement for this expenditure. Therefore, donations to the range will be required to acquire each box. Again, this offer is for members only, and supply will be limited.
Boxes of new .380 ammo are available for a donation of $26 per box, limit two per member.
Boxes of reloaded .380 ammo are offered for a donation of $21 per box. Members must sign a hold-harmless agreement in order to acquire reloaded ammo from the range.
Other calibers may become available in the future, but supply will be limited, and they will not be on hand on a regular basis. Required donation for each caliber will vary. Check at the range for further details. |
|
275 Yard Range - A hunting club has leased the woods surrounding the range, and they have placed a lockbox outside the range gate, on the right-hand side. When there is a RED placard or sign posted above this lockbox, the 275 yard range is NOT to be used. The 275 yard range abuts the property they have leased, and as a safety measure it will therefore be closed when the members of the hunting club are using the land. |
|
Sunup To Sundown Range Access - Any yearly membership holder who wishes to have seven-day access to the range, during daylight hours, may now acquire gate access. For an additional $100 initial fee (yearly renewals thereafter $60 per year, in addition to membership renewal fee, provided membership has not lapsed), yearly members may add seven-day sunup to sundown access to the range. Yearly members may not bring guests if they use the range outside of normal operating hours, and they must attend a mandatory safety class (since they may be using the range without Safety Officers present). Members who visit the range outside of normal operating hours must remember to shut and lock the gate when entering and departing the range. The gate must not be left open at any time outside of normal operating hours. All members are expected to follow safe gun handling practices and rules at all times. |
